In a recent Facebook post, Ngomashi wrote; "After what happened in #Ukraine I am considering running for Presidency 2043."

However, though to many this post read like a typical Comic Pastor's comedy episode, there could be some deeper connotation to his post than meets the eye.
Comic Pastor will be turning 35 on September 27 meaning, according to Zimbabwean law which states that one can only run for presidency at 40 and above, Ngomashi will be eligible by 2028 elections.

Why would he throw himself to 2043 and not 2028 or 2033 or 2038?
Zelensky, 41, won the Ukranian presidential election with a landslide. With almost all ballots counted, Zelensky had over 73% while his contender, Poroshenko had 24%.
Meanwhiles, earlier this year in January, Ngomashi was called in for questioning by the police following a skit titled Bvunzai maGaffa which featured American-based Alfred Kainga.

The skit took shots at President Emmerson Mnangagwa. It exploited Mnangagwa's failure to address economical strifes that the country is going through.
The following month, Comic Pastor's counterparts from BusstopTv, Maggie and Gonyeti were also picked up for question by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Central Intelligence Department (CID).
