Carl Joshua Ncube and younger brother Cedric David Ncube have partnered up once again to offer fans yet another sterling performance.
The comedy-music duo will be performing in Gaborone, Botswana this August, a date yet to be announced.
The brothers will be fusing comedy and music together and every year promises to be bigger, harmonious and even more hilarious than the previous. They have both paved their way in the entertainment industry in both Zimbabwe and Botswana.
The brothers draw their inspiration from their late father who was also a comedian, and this has helped them form a great bond on and off stage to deliver unique and great shows. They have been receiving great reviews from their previous shows, of which they have been doing together for years, and each show the standing ovations keep coming.
Their shows have been said to be a mixture of laughter, emotion, jubilation and an excessive display of brotherhood.
Ncube told NewsDay in an interview, “The idea of combining music and comedy in one show was the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream as I had always wanted to share the stage with my brother.”
The three time award winning comedian is currently on his comedy tour that has started in August and is scheduled to end in September. He recently had a farewell show which was a rehearsal for his upcoming major one man show in Sandton, Johannesburg on the 9th of August.
This comedy show forms part of the Goliath and Goliath #OneNightStand festival and will be having Carl Ncube performing has tear-dropping jokes.
Carl wrote in a Facebook post, “My opening line in my comedy performances is “My name is Carl Joshua Ncube and I am the BIGGEST ZIMBABWEAN Stand Up Comedian in the World” as ridiculous as it sounded in 2010 when I started performing comedy it was a declaration to God as to what I wanted to be.”
