Whilst fans celebrate her first AFRIMMA nomination as Best Female Artist in Southern Africa, the young woman that is Tamy Moyo will be amongst the huge talent in Africa performing at the 27th annual premiere event Jazz Lake music festival in Johannesburg.
The award winning song-bird will be sharing the stage with Sjava, Bucie Nkomo, Vusi Nova and many more. The festival will be on the 1st of September and is part of the Arts Alive Music Festival taking place at Zoo Lake. Media personality Misred showed support for the talented musician by saying she will definitely be at the festival supporting 'her girl'.
Her persistency even got her nominated amongst the greatest female artists in Africa, this comes as an incredible achievement and a nod that she’s doing something right. The vocalist and guitarist is a woman of many talents, not only is she an inspirational vocalist, performer and musician, but she can also play the Guitar.
She is currently in South Africa, preparing for Sunday’s event. The songstress was on Etv for the first time and spoke about her career and upcoming event. Here is a snippet of her amazing performance for ‘Kwandinobva’ on the Morning Show.
Moyo first rose to fame in 2016 for her song 'Ndibereke.' She has had the opportunity of performing alongside the late Oliver Mtukudzi. She is definitely going places and the recognition is well deserved.
