Some of the people who were at the ceremony also said that Blaqs was out of control and even went to the extent of threatening to beat up the security team.
“This guy had taken seats that were reserved and when we told him to find another table he refused and told us that no one could move him from his chosen chair. ”He even threatened us saying we didn’t know who he was and if we moved him out by force the issue would not end well,”

“We did not want to cause a scene because the guy was very drunk which is why we had to take him out in a clean way,” explained one of the security guards.
Blaqs however scooped the Outstanding Arts Video Director Award, but did not stay long to collect his accolade as he had been taken out by the security guards as he had vandalised the VVIP area.
Moreover ,Blaqs told Zimetro that he was escorted out because he had taken a seat at a wrong table and he has no much to say about the incident.
“I see nothing wrong with being removed from a table that didn’t belong to me. Anyway, I’m not interested in talking about what happened at the awards,” he said.
Blaqs is one of the video directors in Zimbabwe that have been applauded for coming up with international rated videos.
He has also directed almost all of Jah Prayzah’s music videos and has worked with several other artists that include Ammara Brown, XQ and Andy Muridzo.
Blaqs came to the spotlight after he posted on his social media that he was the best videographer and director in Zimbabwe .
However, his statement led to people comparing him to Andy Cutter who directs most of Tammy Moyo and Takura’s videos and Slim Mugombedze who is the director of ZBC TV epic drama Tunga and most of Mathias Mhere’s music videos.
Well, what's your take on him being the best videographer and director in Zimbabwe?
