Cindy Munyavi could not let the shade thrown at her slide. The spectacular outfit she wore at the just ended NAMA Awards which was made by a local Designer Thembani Mubochwa left everybody talking.

Some of the social media fashion police mocked her outfit with some saying it looked like a raincoat and some advised her not to go near the fire as her outfit could be ruined.

However, the Setter Pace hit-maker had to clap back and regarded those who mocked her outfit as people who are used to basic things.
Here is what she had to say.

We should give Cindy a break hey, because fashion is all about taking risks.

The award show also left a lot desired as far as the public is concerned. instead of being shown on ZBC like previously stated, they were being streamed online, much to the chagrin of viewers. But no worries if you were on free mode the whole weekend and missed the drama, we have got you covered.

Although a lot of new faces in the arts industry like Enzo Ishall and Bless Gatsi (the director of a ZTV drama Kuchina) walked away with prizes, people felt like some well deserving individuals were left out.

The epic television drama Tunga, a crowd favourite failed to grab an award and some were in a shock that Amai Patai won an award on the viewers choice award category.

Shem Zemura who is a director on several television productions opened up on how he was upset that he did not win an award this time around but congratulated those who won.

NAMA which has grappled with corruption and favouritism in the past seemed to have turned a new left, but only time will tell if, indeed, it will be able to regain its credibility.
