Award winning Zimbabwean dance hall artist Killer T released his new song titled 'Mukonyo' on Facebook.

The song was released on the 14th of August and Killer T received great reception for the song.

Fans on Facebook are loving the new tune which translates to 'Larynx'.

Buhle Ndlovu says, 'Wow, Love the song.'

Another fan Sibongile Marapira says, 'Nice one Chairman.'

Tawanda Mindu says, 'Chairman you never disappoint.' 

Other fans are just lost for words and use fire emojis along with heart emojis to emphasize  their approval of the new track.

The Zimdancehall star whose real name is Kelvin Kusikwenyu, first rose to fame with his popular track Makarova Ganaz which translates to 'You beat up a soldier.'

His signature opening statement 'Hot property' can be heard at the beginning of his tracks, also gained him the popularity.


He released his new album In April 2018, titled Mashoko Anopfuura, which boasts of popular features including Jah Prayzah on the song 'Hondo', and many other popular musicians.


His inspiration for his music comes from the life he had as an orphan and the ghetto surroundings he had to encounter. The people also encourage him to put pen into paper and talk about the daily struggles which he often relates to.

He has worked with numerous artists throughout his career and has a very impressive bag of singles that helped him rise to fame.

To date he has 6 awards under his belt at the Zimdancehall Awards, including Best artist, Best collaboration and most popular artist in dancehall. He also has been nominated more than 5 times.

Stemming from the ghetto life, he says he understands the pressures people face however, does not condemn their violence and that is not the message he is trying to get across with his music.
