Local artist Sandra Ndebele has participated in talks to help educate and uplift female students from ST. Bernards High School. 

She talked to the girls about life and how to overcome societal pressures and how to use their education as tools to succeed in life.

She also gave talks at the Intwasa Arts Festival high school talks for their ‘100 Girls, 100 voices and 100 umbrellas for diversity, inclusion and empowerment’ drive.

She did not stop there, she also spoke to the children at Nkulumane High school. 

In her talks, the legend spoke about her journey and how she got to where she is today and having survived sex predators. She also spoke about pressing issues and topics that affect girls globally, such as safety, being vocal about things that eat you up inside, health care, education and a whole lot more. 

“I hope more people take time from their busy schedules to support and help in imparting "Girl Child Education" in their village, city, town and country. If each one of us does a little bit then we all can make a change for the better.”

Sandra is a recognizable force in the industry as a musician, dancer, choreographer and performer. She has been in the spotlight for 16 years and continues to make music like the icon she is.

Having changed her music and appearance to blend in the modernized music scene, she now offers a more modern look and has more high energy dance routines. 

She is also an ambassador for Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, National Blood Service Zimbabwe, Mpilo Hospital and Suzuki.

“Girls are pearls, ladies are rubies, mothers are moulders, and women are wonderful.” She said. 

Sandra is currently still gracing the fans with fire performances and does not seem to be backing down anytime soon.
