Zimbabwe femcee Phreshy has people smitten with her bars, thanks to her newly released EP ‘Muzambangwena’ and the music critics are loving it.

Phreshy has been receiving a lot of thumbs up with this EP and people are already predicting that she will be the best female run in Zimbabwean Hip Hop for 2019.

The ‘feisty diva’ has been working very hard to push and market her music and has been getting major airplay.

Coming from the city of gold, KweKwe, Phreshy drew inspiration from it. The young talent found inspiration from the Muzambangwena tree that stands firmly in the most horrendous winds, even though it is not the tallest of trees.

The pint sized rapper likens her strength to that tree. As the saying goes ‘dynamites come in small packages’, both her and the tree have the ability to withstand any force that threatens their power.

On this EP she worked with Daruler, Kikky Badass, Natasha Muz, King Avry, Jungle Kid and Rap Orators as collaborations. Including productions by Rayo Beats and Afrow Zenda.

On 27 July she hosted a listening session for the most promising project from a female rapper, at the Batanai Gardens in Harare. The function was attended by hip hop heads Noble Stylz, CEO of Zim Hip Hop awards Aldrian Harrison, Zzimbuzz, Dollasign music and fellow hip hop artists.

As much as she is a talented rapper, she is also a graduate from the Great Zimbabwe University having studied Geography and Environmental Science. She has worked at Makuvisi Woodland Nature Reserve and Environmental Center.

Educated and topping the charts, the femcee is indeed a dynamite that’s making waves in the industry.
