The beautiful model with a bubbly personality Kim Jayde is set to travel to Harare this Saturday on the 24th of August, with her crew from MTVBase South. They will be in Borrowdale Village in Harare at 2.30pm. The aim of the trip is to interview people and put them on MTV Base.
"I am so excited to show the whole world what Zimbabwe is really like and how amazing our people are." said the beauty.
She is currently in South Africa working for MTV Base and doing ambassadorial work for different brands, however will be making her way home this weekend and show love for her home country.
Kim and 99 other celebrities will be taking the polar plunge challenge on the 31st of August. Together they will show their support for athletes with disabilities by jumping into an iced-up swimming pool. She was invited to talk today at YFM about the challenge and asking for support from the fans and people who wish to show their support for the initiative.
She was born in Harare and grew up in Bulawayo then made her way to Cape Town, South Africa to begin her modelling career, ever since then she fell in love with the entertainment industry. She also used to work 3 days a week at the Somerset government hospital at the V & A Waterfront, counseling patients in every ward.
"It feels like a whole other life, but I'm so grateful for my experience as a social work student in South Africa." She describes her life changing experience as a social worker and how it shaped her life currently in the entertainment industry.
