Tamy Moyo, from Zimbabwe, is a woman with various talents. She not only acts but also sings. She was reared by her mother and grandfather when her father, a radio host, gave birth to her in 1998.

When she joined the choir at age 7, her singing career started. When she was 13 years old, six years later, she joined people like Oliver Mtukudzi, Ba Shupi, and Joe Thomas. She launched Uganda African Choir with her friends, and they also played at a charity event in New York.

Since releasing excellent songs and acting in movies, the singer has progressed gradually.

The performer was chosen as the ZIMOCO Brand Ambassador. She received the Haval Jolion, first driven in Zimbabwe on June 25, 2021, when it was initially launched.

She was originally exposed to the music industry at the age of 7, and in 2016, at 18, she released her debut album, "The 18th roller-coaster." She gained enormous fan support and rose to popularity with the help of the six-track CD.

In 2019, Tamy Moyo released the music video for "Kwandinobva," which translates to "Where I Come From." DJ Tamuka produced the song. Later, in the same year, she released Tekere and Zviroto.

She collaborated with producers Young DLC from Zimbabwe, Abush Zeleke from Ethiopia, and Lourena Nhate from Mozambique on Coke Studio Africa, the greatest music program in Africa.

When discussing her interview experience, Tamy Moyo remarked,

"I had a great experience at Coke Studio Africa and managed to network and connect with some influential people in the African music industry. Sharing the stage with some of Africa's biggest acts has also grown my audience and even here at home there is a lot more recognition of my work as an artiste, which I'm grateful for."

Tamy Moyo said she would make her big-screen debut in the thrilling movie Gonarezhou in 2020. Sydney Taivavashe, who also directed the film, has a strong anti-poaching message in Gonarezhou.

Tamy Moyo spoke out vehemently about her new position when she said:

"It was awesome but challenging and at times we had to wake up early for some scenes. I got to experience another life, a life in the village as a village girl. I made new friends, met new people. I'm sure I nailed it."

Tamy Moyo Philanthropy

Tamy Moyo supports social causes and uses her voice as part of her social work. She serves on the board of "The Dreams Project," a group that promotes HIV and AIDS education in rural Zimbabwe.

In 2011, she began her five-year stint as a Child Ambassador for ChildLine (Zimbabwe). She recently spoke as a guest speaker on her experience to young girls at the Angel of Hope Foundation.

In order to give African youngsters a voice, Tamy Moyo established the Uganda African Choir in 2008. She and three other colleagues performed this performance during a charity event at Madison Square Garden in New York. Guests enjoyed her efforts as they observed the African child's suffering.

She supported 25 underprivileged children from several secondary schools in Harare in 2019 by paying their tuition.

Tamy Moyo has also stated that she plans to practice law in the future and advocate for children's rights.
