Born on the 23rd of April 1994 in Mabvuku, Enzo Ishall discovered his passion for music at the tender age of six and began writing songs from his days in primary school. Enzo Ishall recorded his first song when he was 15 years old.
He studied at Churchill Boys High School where he obtained his O-levels before proceeding to Phoenix College for his A-levels where he attained 7 points.
After graduating from high school, Enzo Ishall met with the owners of Chill Spot Records- Fantan and Levels who signed him to their label.
In 2018, Enzo Ishall released his debut song Chiita Kwacho which was well received and helped usher him into the music industry.
His hit song Kanjiva is what really ushered Enzo Ishall into stardom. It earned him a Coca Cola top 50 award for best video in 2018. In the same year, he also released 50 Magate which was also a huge success.
Enzo Ishall’s management drama and exit from the music industry
In September 2019, Enzo Ishall left Chillspot Records for Passion Java Records label after Passion Java bought him out of his previous contract with Chillspot Records for R200 000.
In January 2020, Ishall signed a contract with Teemak Promotions in a deal that was reportedly worth US$100 000. His new contract was in breach of his existing contract with Passion Java Records who reportedly threatened to sue him.
Later in June the same year, Enzo reported that he had left Teemak Promotions and had patched things up with Passion Java.
On September 1st 2021, Enzo Ishall announced that he would be retiring from the music industry shortly after releasing his song Ehee which he said would be his last song. In a detailed statement, Enzo Ishall explained to his fans that he was leaving music to begin the next phase of his life.
A month after officially quitting music, Enzo Ishall officially made his return to the music industry in October 2021 with the release of his new track Zuva Risingasvike.
