Who is Khama Billiat’s wife?

Khama Billiat’s wife is a beautiful woman called Esnath Munyedawo. The two have been married for over 10 years.

The couple reportedly met in 2009 in a church where they were both congregants and after dating, got married on an undisclosed date.

While Khama is a renowned football player and has a huge presence online, details about his wife who appears to love her privacy have remained a mystery although some sources quote that she is eight years older than the footballer.

Khama Billiat and his wife have a beautiful daughter named Kimberly who the football player adores so much that he even has her name tattooed on his arm.

While Khama has shunned from sharing photos and details of his wife online, he often shares cute photos on his social media of himself spending time with his daughter and the father-daughter relationship is something to be desired.

Did Khama Billiat take a second wife?

Early in 2021, some South African media outlets reported that Khama Billiat had married a second wife and paid lobola for her. The publication claimed that the woman’s mother had contacted them with the news.

Khama Billiat’s alleged second wife is a South African woman called Nomcebo Mthethwa. She is a model, musician, television presenter, and former actress.

When contacted about his alleged second marriage, Khama Billiat reportedly laughed off the allegations and hung up his phone.

Khama Billiat's childhood and background

Khama Billiat was born on the 19th of August 1990 to Rosa and Mustafo Billiat in Mufakose, a suburb in Harare, where he was also raised.

Billiat comes from a family of footballers and this background shaped his passion for the game and ultimately his career. 

His father- Mustafo played for CAPS United although he never made it to the first team. His uncle Maxwell Cheche Billiat was a defensive midfielder for CAPS United and the national team- Warriors.

Inspired by the two important male figures in his life, Khama Billiat who used to go for CAPS United matches started training for his football career at only 10 years old after joining the Aces Youth Soccer Academy.

He joined CAPS United in 2010 under coach Lloyd Chitembwe and he played with the club for three months only before moving to South Africa.

In August 2010, Billiat got signed by South Africa’s Ajax Cape Town on transfer from CAPS United. In 2012, he starred in a friendly match against Manchester United which ended in a 1-1 draw. 

His performance at this major friendly received praise from Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and manager Alex Ferguson.

In 2013, he moved to Mamelodi Sundowns FC on a five-year contract where he continued to shine. In 2018, the lethal midfielder moved to Kaiser Chiefs on a three-year contract.

Besides his performance in the premier league, Khama Billiat has also represented Zimbabwe in international matches. He has played with the Warriors since 2011 when he made his debut. He announced his retirement from international football in 2022 after his match against Ethiopia in the FIFA world cup qualifiers 2022.
