It is only 2 days before Rihanna’s cosmetics companies, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are expected to launch in the country.

A few weeks ago, the billionaire superstar and businesswoman announced that her brands were coming to Africa and Zimbabwe was among the selected countries to have the businesses operate in.

Rihanna tweeted, “I’ve been waiting for this moment!! @fentybeauty & @fentyskin are finally dropping in AFRICA!!! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe…we coming at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning!!!’.
Since she made the announcement, the biggest question many Zimbabweans have been scouring to ask is; where exactly will these products be sold?

Well… we have got the answer!!!

Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products will be available at Catts Beaute located at Shop 26, Sam Levy’s Village in Borrowdale.

Catts Beaute is already an authorised retail store for international, luxury cosmetics and fragrances such as Givenchy, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Clarins, Estee Lauder, Clinique and many more.

Fenty Beauty confirmed the news on Twitter after a curious fan asked where to get the products in Zimbabwe.
Fenty Beauty was created by Rihanna in 2017 to ensure there is inclusion to cater to even the traditionally hard to match skin tones. The brand seeks to provide beauty formulas that apply to any skin type. Its name comes from Rihanna’s full name Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
Fenty Beauty’s expansion to Africa means consumers can now shop the brand’s entire skincare and makeup catalog from bestsellers to newest launches at select stores both in-person and online.

For years, beauty and skincare fanatics across the continent who did not have the option to travel abroad or ask family members to send them Fenty cosmetics have been left longing to experience Rihanna’s products.

Sadly there have been fake products roaming around disguised as Fenty products on the market. Well not anymore because now you know where to get the legit products.

Our very own award winning Zimbabwean model Nyasha Matonhodze has been selected as the face of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Africa’s global launch.

Matonhodze ventured into modelling aged 16 and has achieved remarkable milestones in her career.
In 2011 she was chosen as the face of Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter advertising campaign and she has also worked with Burberry, Delvaux and several other luxury brands and appeared in the Teen Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Scandinavia and 10 Magazine.

The model shared her excitement about the news on Instagram, writing: “I’ve had a lot of “pinch me” moments in my career, but I have to say this one hit differently.”

Matonhodze who is based in the United Kingdom added that it ‘felt particularly special’ that the beauty products will now be available in Zimbabwe where her grandmother resides.

“To be the face of @fentybeauty Africa’s global launch is one thing, but as a deeply proud Zim Girl and knowing this will be launching in Zimbabwe where my family and grandma are going to see it felt particularly special.

“Colourism is still something we are healing from, but when beauty companies make an effort to cater for all shades it does genuinely make everyone feel included.

“Thank you @badgalriri I’m incredibly honoured to be a part of this campaign and most importantly it’s message.”

Fenty Beauty shared the same image captioned: “Effortless beauty! We’re bringing that legendary #FENTYFACE energy to Africa! We so hype to drop these #FENTYFAVES on the Motherland”.
