Popular rapper, Desmond “Stunner” Chideme has come out saying the aftermath of his relationship with Pokello and Olinda has censored him from writing love songs.

Speaking in an interview on Power FM yesterday, Stunner said people would misinterpret him whenever he penned a love song. He highlighted how people would tag his love songs as a dedication for his missing either Pokello or Olinda, thereby persuading him to withdraw from writing such songs.

“You know, people started receiving fewer songs from me between the times of my ex, Pokello to Olinda. This was a result of misinterpretations where people would tag a song as my dedication to so and so they thought I miss.

“I was then forced to sing more about life problems and alcohol so as to avoid people’s misconceptions,” he said.

In response to recent claims that he has hit hard times and has moved back to his parents’ place in Glen Norah, Stunner said he would never go back to his mother's house and crowd her with his own family.

“I would never take my family to move back in with my mom, I am cultured like that, it does not work bringing two women under one roof. I only moved there to catch up with the latest ghetto street language prior to my new album,” he said.

He also added that he owns property in Mufakose.

“If ever I start to feel the economic pinch I will just evict the person renting my small co-house down in Mufakose instead of moving back with my mom,” said Stunner.

Stunner made the bold move to revisit his ghetto life in search of inspiration to an upcoming album despite him knowing how the step would be misinterpreted. True to his anticipation, the development has made waves on social media.
