Ruvheneko Encourages People Not To Spread Fake News

Messages With Facts Are Better At This Time

The coronavirus outbreak has seen the country and the world break into chaos as the virus spreads across the world.

As the virus continues to spread so does fake news related to the virus.

Taking to Instagram, media personality Ruvheneko shared a few words to encourage people during the lockdown.

"The world has been humbled. We spend our days and nights planning, thinking we are in complete control of our lives, but we are not. What a time this is to be alive," wrote Ruvheneko.

The star sent out her heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their lives due to the pandemic "that knows no race, nationality, status, borders, age, sex, net worth, belief or time".

There are 13 confirmed coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe and three deaths, worldwide the virus has claimed 103 536 lives.

Ruvheneko encouraged her fans and followers not to spend time "sharing sensational fake news"

"Let's rather share messages with facts, with advice and above all messages laden with Hope," advised Ruvheneko.
