The rapper posted herself attending a private viewing of Gert Johan Coetzee's 2021 collection. The first lady of the family tree is no stranger to high fashion or collaborations with the designer. Earlier on in the year, Nadia Nakai posted on her Instagram a picture of herself in Sandton wearing an original Gert Johan Coetzee that sparkled and suited her to perfection.
In her Instagram post under that particular dress, she said,
"LISTEN! I miss award ceremonies SOOO much! I decided to steal this Gert Johan Coetzee dress from his exhibition in Sandton and walk around Diamond walk like it's my personal Red Carpet! COS I SLAY!"
The artist also got to try on a more than the sequined and feathered dress, but a selection of gowns from the designer.

Gert-Johan Coetzee this year celebrated 10 years of design and through those 10 years, the brand has grown to be one of the most recognisable names in high fashion. Gert-Johan has gone beyond South Africa itself through successful collaborations with worldwide brands like McDonald’s and Ferrari. On top of the Couture and Bespoke Bridal Collections, Gert-Johan also created GERT, the Casual Wear Collection with another Ready-To-Wear Range available at selected high-end boutiques.
In posts on Nadia's Instagram, she and the designer seemed like close friends and we hope this spells collaborations in the future. Nadia was dressed in the GERT casual wear collection and we're not sure but we expect it was from the coming year's collection. Nadia Nakai has always had a varied fashion taste which she constantly switches up without missing a step. From her hairstyles to hair colour and from high heels to sneakers, she pulls it all off. She often changes from red carpet gowns to swimsuits and the first lady of the family tree looks royal either way.
In terms of other collaborations, the rapper boasts of being a brand ambassador for Reebok and this year she put out her own line in collaboration with Sportscene.
