First of all, let me applaud you for the hard work you have done over the years. You have inspired many single mothers and proved to them that they can rise up no matter what is thrown to them. Murandakadzi you have shown that you can never give love too many chances. Everything you have achieved so far is impressive and there is no doubt that you will do even more in time….but here is the problem.

Your name has become a brand….a brand associated with drama. In Shona they say “Ane bhora ndiye anomakwa”, meaning people will always have something to say when you have something good going for yourself. However you don’t have to respond to each and everything said about you. You don’t have to react to every action against you. You are a brand! Take a leaf off other public figures like Winky D, Jah Prayzah and even your rival Madam Boss. Sometimes no response is a response good enough.

God blessed you with a beautiful powerful voice. A voice that has created hits we love and dance to. Something that no one can take from you except YOURSELF! Somehow you have managed to divert people’s attention from your God given talent to messy headlines you are involved in every day. Have you ever wondered how different things would be if you didn’t respond and react to every single thing and focused on what you are really good at, which is comedy, charity work and your many business ventures?
You are a successful businesswoman, you are a mother and you are a wife. These are very demanding roles that you should put all of your energy towards. You should not have time for all this drama. You are doing too good for yourself to be bothered by little things.

How many people in the industry have you beefed with? Let’s try to count, Madam Boss, Passion Java, Olinda Chapel, Zuva Habane, Tatelicious, Evidence Chihera, Zizo PaMyk, Lorraine Guyo……and the list goes on and on.  Don’t you see the problem here? Look in the mirror! At the end of the day, YOU are the one who looks “crazy”. People will label you as the difficult crazy bitter woman which I doubt you are. Yes being in the public eye is hard. People feel like they have the right to speak on you, your kids and your family. They forget that you are a human being with feelings too. Unfortunately that is the price you have to pay for fame and I sympathize with you.

It is something every public figure go through. When American superstar Beyonce got pregnant with her first child Blue Ivy, she was accused of faking a baby bump simply because her dress folded during an interview. People will always have something to say but it is your reaction that validate their words. This letter is not to bash you or discredit you. It is a piece of advice that you can either take or leave. Regardless of what you do with it, I wish you nothing but the best in your career.

Kindest Regards
