Tyra Chikocho popularly known as Madam Boss took to Instagram Live to share the news that she'd been called upon by a Cameroonian company for a campaign. In the video, she described how chuffed she was that from all the celebrities in Zimbabwe they had chosen her.

She said three comedians had been conscripted for the campaign, 2 from Cameroon and 1 from Zimbabwe. Madam Boss said initially she should've flown to Cameroon but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she'll be taking part online. She discussed her career path, from being a brand ambassador for Netone to making skits for Econet and to her present position working with Nyaradzo, 1202 Herbal and Skylake boreholes among others.

Madam Boss talked about how she'd achieved all of this without being educated. She got slightly emotional as Instagram live progressed. Madam Boss is said to be a beauty therapist by profession and she's currently married to Ngonidzashe Munetswa, who she has daughter, Mikayla with. Her upbringing is said to have been in Madziva and in some rural areas of Masvingo. Madam Boss was raised by her mother until she was said to be in grade 6, but her mother passed on and left her an orphan. She reportedly became the head of the family at the tender age of 10. From there she dropped out of school and started hustling for herself and her siblings.

In the Instagram live Madam Boss went on to say she owed her success to God and it wasn't because of anything she had but God's grace. Madam Boss went on to describe how her fortunes had changed so much that she now had to turn down contracts. She said a large company in Zimbabwe wanted her to become their brand ambassador but she had to turn it down and after being turned down, the company said they would wait for her other contracts to end. Madam Boss has not been keeping her success to herself but she's giving back.

Madam Boss was recently engaged in charity work over the Christmas holidays. Under the banner of her foundation, she held a Christmas lunch for inmates at Chikurubhi prison. There was music and other festivities and the inmates were able to dance and mix and mingle with the celebrity. This was also the same for model Hillary Makaya over the festive season as she went on a campaign to feed orphans.
