Zimbabwean born TV Presenter and Influencer Kim Jayde, undoubtedly embraces her Zimbabwean roots. Despite of the tough economic times engulfing the country, Kim is proud of being a Zim native.
The starlet constantly shines a light and brings messages of support and hope to those who are affected by the living conditions of the country which has deteriorated dramatically over the years.
Zimbabwe is blessed with beautiful people, their heart-warming hearts and streak of generosity continue to secure them a special place in the hearts of many people across the world.
Kim has however never shied away from flaunting the beauty her country has to offer. She believes there is more to life than just the tough economy.
It is no secret that over the years the country has been grappling with galloping price increases and a plunging currency that has spawned shortages of fuel and food. Severe power cuts and poor service delivery have been the order of the day, but there is still optimism that sustains a lot of people.
Kim took to Instagram to set the records straight that she is fed up with trolls lambasting her Zim content. They have been accusing her of showing the glitz and glamour of Zimbabwe instead of the dark cloud engulfing the country.
In her response, she said, "I honestly believe there is good and bad in every country, nowhere is perfect, However with Zimbabwe in particular there is an abundance in negativity and false press about what is going on.”
In the past fake and malicious news reports have set tongues wagging about the country’s state.
Kim also weighed in and agreed that there has been a fair share of false press about the state of Zimbabwe. She further stated that she will unequivocally continue to create and share Zim’s beautiful content.
“Yes, I am using my platform to highlight my beautiful country, the land and its incredible people”.
So if y'all continue to lambast her content, be prepared to watch her serve some major clap backs.
