Moana passed on an early Sunday morning two weeks ago in a car accident along with Genius "Ginimbi" Kadungure, Karim Cazal and Alichia Adams. The news cycle continues to be dominated by drama from the Amuli family as they try to agree on the burial proceedings for Moana. Moana's stepmother was filmed on Friday saying she started taking care of her since she was 4 years old and she was as a mother to her as anyone else. Moana's biological mother retorted to this by saying if she wanted to be truly treated like a grieving mother she kills one of her own children.

This morning one of Zimbabwe's biggest artists is in the eye of the storm. Mitchelle "Moana" Amuli's father has expressed his displeasure at Jah Prayzah's conduct. In a video posted by H-Metro Ishmael Amuli revealed that Jah Prayzah came to give condolences at Moana's funeral but he never reached out to him. He simply saw others and asked where was Moana's father. Mr Amuli revealed that on the occasion Jah Prayzah came to the funeral he was actually there and heard that Jah Prayzah had come but he never saw him.

Mr Amuli especially decried Jah's conduct because Jah Prayzah had a video in which Moana featured as a model. He said if Jah Prayzah was a man of true morals and values he would seek out an aggrieved father and tell him he had a music video with his daughter and offer his condolences. Moana's father went on to say that he starts wondering whether Jah Prayzah found her on the streets, living as a homeless person because if Jah Prayzah was a real man who's upstanding he wouldn't conduct himself like that.

Moana was featured in Jah Prayzah's emotional video for the song Munyaradzi which was released in May this year. The fitness model also appeared in Freeman's video Miridzo that was released around the same time as Munyaradzi. In the interview with H-Metro Mr Amuli went on to say that Jah Prayzah should've asked for his blessing before featuring Moana in his video. He said if it was innocent and proper then he would've approved and everything would've been above board.

People across the divide have received the latest comments from Mr Amuli with mixed feelings. As the family is said to be struggling with funeral bills some have called upon Jah Prayzah and the brands that worked with Moana to do more. Others are however taking the position that Mr Amuli is attention-seeking.

The storm continues around the burial of the socialite. Following a High Court interdict by Moana’s mother, her burial will only be done after Monday as the matter was postponed as explained by Ishmael Amuli’s lawyer.
