Due to economic hardships, any miscalculated moves by musicians have proved to be fatal in the recent past as angry Zimbabweans prowl social media streets in search of small errors and victims to pounce on and vent their anger.

American pop singer, Tinashe, stands witness to this after she denied being Zimbabwean a few weeks ago.

Now, after candidly penning a song for the Zimbabwe senior men's soccer team, Jah Prayzah has come under fire with some lyrics from Fambai Nebhora that have been deemed a demeanour of the girl child.

Some women and child rights activists have even moved for a campaign to mute Jah Prayzah's music.

Seeing the roof above him starting to dislodge, the lanky crooner has taken to Facebook to redraft his Warriors message in a four-paragraphed girl-child propagating message.

This reads the message: Munguva yekunyorwa kwemaGwaro matsvene, baby Moses was saved nemunhukadzi akamuviga mutsanga apo vana vese vechikomana vaiuraiwa na mambo. Tinoona kugona kunzvenga kwevaranda kadzi.

Toonazve kugona kunzvenga, pakuonekwa kwaJesu mushure mekunge amuka, na Mary Magdalene. Hapana aiziva kwaiva kwaiswa Jesu asi ngirozi dzakaburuka paari iye ndokuti “handisikuziva kwakavigwa ishe vangu.” Jesu akazviratidza kuna Mary Magdalene.

Inguva zhinji dzinorerutswa ndima kana hupenyu nemadzimai kubudikidza kwemoyo yavo minyoro, vangave vakasununguka kana varimuhusungwa saka tinoti kwamuri ma Warriors, dai mawaniswawo simba iroro makwanisa kunzvenga vanhu munhandare sevaranda kadzi. Musamire tirikuda mukombe kuno.

Go Warriors Go. Keep enjoying the song.

Will his response silence the mute-Jah Prayzah campaign?
