Some say Ginimbi left an unsigned will, while some publications claim, the supposed put most of Ginimbi's assets into a trust with few direct beneficiaries such as BFF "Kit-kat" who is set to get the Lamborghini Aventador sportscar.

These rumours have now been dispelled by a statement from Ginimbi's longtime lawyers. The statement also comes amid word that Ginimbi intended to turn his house into a hotel or museum and some murmuring that his clothes were to be burned.

According to Mr Brighton Pabwe of Venturas and Samukange — who were Ginimbi’s long-time legal representatives, there was no inheritance document deposited with any attorneys or with the Master of High Court. A person can write a will and then lodge it with their lawyers, executor, or the Master of High Court.

“We are not aware of any will that was prepared by the late Mr Kadungure. That document does not exist at the moment,” Mr Pabwe told The Sunday Mail yesterday.
As a way forward, he said, the Master of High Court, Mr Eldard Mutasa, has called for a meeting with the Kadungure family, creditors, and beneficiaries in Harare on Wednesday at 10.30 am.

Reports coming through are also indicating that the late businessman and socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure did not have insurance for the Rolls-Royce Wraith he had an accident with. The national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi on Saturday said Ginimbi’s vehicle had not been insured and it also lacked a Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) licence.

“Records obtained by the police in the on-going investigations into the fatal road traffic accident show that the vehicle had been registered through Central Vehicle Registry and obtained personalised number plates,” he said.

“The records also indicate that the vehicle had not been insured or obtained a Zinara licence. The police is still conducting investigations into the fatal road traffic accident.”

Ginimbi passed away in a freak car accident, which also claimed his friends, fitness trainer Michelle “Moana” Amuli, Malawian Karim Cazal and Mozambican model/socialite Alichia Adams, two weeks ago. The accident occurred along Borrowdale Road in Harare in the early hours of November 8, when a speeding Ginimbi overtook two cars before ramming into a Lucky Chikwanda’s car.
The popular Zimbabwean socialite and businessman was nicknamed Minister of Entertainment and owned multiple businesses under Piko Holdings such as Dreams Nightlife club.
