Did Ginimbi have a secret child?
According to the Sunday Mail, the late Ginimbi had a child with Ms Miyedzo Madondo back in 2011.
According to sources, Miyedzo Madondo and Ginimbi first met in 2006. The two were an item until the birth of their child after which their relationship reportedly collapsed.
Although he was not initially involved in the upbringing of his son, Ginimbi reportedly warmed up to him later on and began spoiling him with expensive gifts.

Ginimbi's family response to Ginimbi's secret child
Initially, the Kadungure family had said they didn't know of any child Ginimbi had fathered and it is still unclear if anyone in the family knew of Ginimbi's supposed child with Miyedzo Madondo.
“As far as I know, Genius did not leave behind any children. I heard through rumours that he had children everywhere, but I was never introduced to any of his children,” Mr Anderson Kadungure, the father to Genius Kadungure, said in an interview.
Ginimbi's brother also said he didn't know if his late brother is survived by any children or not. Clemence Kadungure said he does not know of any children since no child was brought to the family when Ginimbi was still alive.

How was Ginimbi's estate divided?
The question of whether Ginimbi had children had arisen as many were asking who is likely to be the heir to Ginimbi’s vast wealth.
However, Miyedzo Madondo said she was not interested in the fortune of her ex-flame as she was living a comfortable life.

“I was born into a family with everything that I needed, so we are OK. Please just leave us alone,” she said.
Miyedzo was born into a rich family. Her father, the late Mr Elias Madondo, was a well-known businessman in Masvingo, who owned a hotel and a farm, among his many business interests.
In February 2022, the high court threw out Ginimbi's unsigned will and declared that he had died intestate. His estate was therefore transferred to his immediate family- father and sisters.
Ginimbi's ex-wife
During his lifetime, Ginimbi was married once and divorced once. His ex-wife is a popular Zimbabwean businesswoman called Zodwa Mkandla.
The two met in 2003 but started dating in 2006 which was incidentally was the year when Ginimbi reportedly also started dating Miyedzo Madondo.
It is unclear exactly when Zodwa Mkandla and Ginimbi got married but the two officially divorced in 2017.
