Freeman Reacts To Lockdown Extension

Two more weeks of lockdown

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has announced that the COVID-19 lockdown has been extended by two weeks, ending on May 3.

During his address on television, the president said the decision was a "hard" one.

Taking to Instagram, dancehall singer Freeman shared his thoughts about the extended lockdown. Whilst he expressed his disappointment over the extension he also said that protective measures should be taken.

Many citizens have expressed their dissatisfaction with the news of the lockdown extension but are understanding that the situation calls for it.
